Jinan to hold intl tea industry expo
The 18th International Tea Industry Expo and the 12th Tea Culture Festival will be held from May 24 to 27 in Jinan, Shandong province.
This year's expo aims to promote the development of the tea industry by showcasing achievements, introducing new products, and facilitating trade. It also focuses on the preservation and development of tea culture.
The exhibition area spans 35,000 square meters and will feature over 2,600 booths, with participants coming from government entities in more than 10 tea-producing regions including Sichuan, Hunan, Shandong, and Fujian provinces, as well as over 800 tea enterprises such as Zhejiang Tea Group and Sichuan Tea Group.
The exhibits will cover the entire tea industrial chain, including the six major types of tea, tea packaging, utensils, and food, showcasing the latest achievements in the integrated development of tea culture, industry and technology.
The exhibition area includes sections for national famous tea, government delegations, and tea aesthetics. The event aims to present the high-quality development brought about by tea culture and the tea industry. Over 20 tea-related events, including competitions, showcases, and tastings, will offer opportunities to experience and preserve traditional tea culture.
The expo has established a rural vitalization assistance zone, showcasing specialty tea products from various regions. The expo will also feature local Jinan specialties such as Pingyin rose tea and Changqing green tea, providing new momentum for rural vitalization. Visitors can enjoy an immersive experience with traditional tea-making techniques and get an up-close look at Jinan's charming spring water tea culture.
The expo will also leverage the internet for optimization and upgrades, enhancing the role of digital technology in tea industry marketing and cultural promotion and offering more technological services to tea enterprises.
