GUIYANG -- The Zhucheng Customs in Southwest China's Guizhou province has issued the province's first export certificate of origin under the free trade agreement (FTA) between China and Ecuador.
The Guizhou Tyre Co Ltd received the certificate for its to-be-exported rubber tyres with a total value of about 529,000 yuan ($74,460).
With this certificate of origin, the company will get a tariff concession of around 4,758.4 yuan as the tariff rate was cut from 15 percent to 14.1 percent.
The FTA between China and Ecuador officially came into effect on May 1.
