Party-wide campaign on CPC discipline education to be held from April to July
The General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee has issued a circular to launch a Party-wide campaign on CPC discipline education. The campaign will run from April to July.
The campaign is intended to enable Party members to better study and implement the newly revised Regulations on CPC Disciplinary Action, the notice said.
The circular underscored the commitment to solving the issues of negligence and a lack of understanding regarding Party rules among CPC members and officials.
The circular emphasized that Party members should meticulously study the regulations, uphold the principles of loyalty, integrity and responsibility, and strengthen their awareness of the do's and don'ts according to the Party's discipline.
The campaign is also intended to strengthen Party members' discipline awareness, self-restraint and capacity to resist corruption, thereby enhancing their political resolve and moral strength.
The circular also called for strengthened efforts to analyze typical cases of discipline violations and use real-life examples to educate and alert Party members about the consequences of such violations, so that they understand the bottom line and respect the rules.
