Turkish national Yildirim Burhan expressed gratitude in Chinese to the Exit-Entry Administration of the Yinchuan Public Security Bureau in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region on Friday after being awarded a five-star card, the latest permanent resident identity card for foreigners.

"Whether it's managing finances at the bank or traveling, things will be much smoother for me," Burhan said.

He spoke highly of the city, praising its beauty and the sense of security and feeling of belonging it has given him. He believes that the five-star card will further facilitate his integration into life in Yinchuan and support his career development in the northwestern Chinese city in the years to come.

He was the first recipient of the five-star card since its introduction in the region.

The Yinchuan Public Security Bureau noted in a statement that there has been an increase in the number of foreigners working and living in Yinchuan who have applied for the five-star card since its launch.

The issuance of the card is expected to pave the way for the successful distribution of new versions for foreigners in the city in coming months.

The Yinchuan Public Security Bureau's Exit-Entry Administration has been actively communicating with companies in Yinchuan that employ high-end foreign talent in recent years, aiming to provide enhanced services to assist in the application process for the permanent residence identity card.
