Couple embarks on unique wedding bus journey in Changchun
On Monday morning, a young bride wearing a traditional Chinese wedding dress got on a bus driven by her groom. They departed for their wedding site with cheers from their relatives and friends in Changchun, Jilin province.
The red Chinese character xi, signifying happiness, was pasted on the windows, and dozens of red ribbons formed flowers to shower marriage blessings on the young couple.
The groom, Fan Lei, is a dedicated driver of the Southwest Public Transport Company's No 79 Bus in Changchun.
When they heard that the company would launch a wedding-themed bus, the young couple immediately decided to become the first participants in the model.
The themed wedding buses are from the company's new-energy bus line.
