Siemens Advanta sets up HQ in Suzhou

Siemens Advanta, a business unit of Siemens offering digital transformation and industrial internet of things solutions, has signed documents establishing its China headquarters in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province. It is expected to promote the intelligent transformation and sustainable development of enterprises and enable new industrialization.

Yuan strengthens against greenback

The central parity rate of the Chinese currency renminbi, or the yuan, strengthened 11 pips to 7.1016 against the US dollar on Wednesday, according to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System. In China's spot foreign exchange market, the yuan is allowed to rise or fall by 2 percent from the central parity rate each trading day.
