Cainiao enters US freight market
Cainiao Group, the logistics arm of Chinese tech heavyweight Alibaba Group Holding Ltd, announced on Tuesday it has begun offering concentrated freight services in the United States, as part of its broader push to boost its logistics and delivery efficiency in overseas markets. The company said customers who buy products from Chinese e-commerce platforms will enjoy a more convenient delivery experience.
List of foreign firms for CIIE grows
A batch of 23 additional foreign enterprises signed up on Tuesday for the business exhibition of the seventh China International Import Expo in Shanghai, a show of foreign companies' solid confidence in the expo, the Chinese market and economy vitality. Among the 23 newly appearing exhibitors at the November event include big names like PepsiCo, Tesla, 3M, GSK and Bayer.
Self-developed C919 gets new flight route
China's first self-developed narrow-body C919 aircraft began commercial flights between Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport via China Eastern Airlines on Tuesday, becoming the second regular flight service of the homegrown jet after Shanghai-Chengdu flights were established earlier.
