The airport is expected to handle 380,000 flights this year, carrying 52.85 million passengers. It now offers routes to 207 destinations in 47 countries.

The airport is expected to handle 12 million international passenger trips next year, management said. Numbers on its routes to and from Europe and the United States currently account for 30 percent of the capacity in China.
