Echanting rime covers Dandong in a shimmering silver blanket

Dandong, a border city in Liaoning province, has been enveloped in a stunning phenomenon known as rime due to cold air.

Early in the morning, clouds and mist rose from the surface of the Yalu River and condensed into frost flowers as they encountered the low temperatures.

The Yalu River Park in the city transformed into a picturesque scene, with flowers, plants, and trees adorned in shimmering silver, resembling a scene straight out of a fairytale.

The breathtaking view has captivated numerous residents and their cameras.
