Strengthening cooperation key to China and Europe benefits

China urges the European Union to make reasonable use of relevant trade measures regarding its anti-dumping investigation into biodiesel imports from China, the Ministry of Commerce said on Thursday.
China has been the biggest biodiesel exporter to the EU, and China's export of biodiesel would help accelerate the EU's green and energy-saving transformation goals, Shu Jueting, spokeswoman of the Ministry of Commerce, said during a media conference in Beijing.
China and Europe complement each other's advantages, and strengthening cooperations would help the two sides achieve mutual benefits and lead to win-win outcomes. It would also help make contributions to the global fight against climate change, Shu said.
Meanwhile, France recently released a list of new energy vehicle models that meet the subsidy standards, while Chinese made NEV models were excluded from the list. The ministry said that relevant measures constitute discrimination against NEV models produced in China.
China hopes that France will abide by the rules of the World Trade Organization and provide a fair and predictable market environment for global enterprises, including those in China.
