Intl supply chain expo has great success

The first China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) witnessed the signing of over 200 cooperation and intent agreements, amounting to a total value exceeding 150 billion yuan ($21.01 billion), according to the event's organizer on Saturday.

The global gathering, held in Beijing from Tuesday to Saturday, showcased the participation of 515 domestic and global companies, as well as international organizations. It has attracted a total of 150,000 attendees, with more than 80,000 being buyers and professionals, said Zhang Shaogang, vice-chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the CISCE's organizer.

The grand event organized of over 360 supporting activities with the participation of 15,000 individuals. A total of 44 Chinese and foreign companies, including SAP SE, GE HealthCare and China Electronics Corp have signed up for the second edition of the CISCE, according to the Beijing-headquartered CCPIT.
