SOE helps counties with railway lines

East China's Anhui province is accelerating construction of local high-speed railways, focusing on routes connecting counties such as Mengcheng and Lixin that are not yet linked by HSR. The Fuyang-Huaibei HSR is on track to scheduled completion, said China Railway 24th Bureau Group Corp. On Monday, the State builder initiated the continuous beam building process for a major bridge project on the HSR. CR24 said the railway aims to better link the province's northern and central regions.

Guangxi-Guangdong links get HSR boost

The Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and Guangdong province in South China are improving their high-speed railway or HSR network to boost coordination between the Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The two regions are building an extension to the Nanning-Shenzhen HSR, which links Guangxi's regional capital and Guangdong's key metropolis bordering Hong Kong. Guangxi invested in the Yulin-Cenxi Railway, which is part-built by China Railway No 4 Engineering Group Co Ltd as an extension to the Nanning-Yulin HSR, part of the Nanning-Shenzhen HSR.
