The 10-year-old Ritz-Carlton in Tianjin is set to continue its legacy of providing guests with a memorable tour, rich in culture and history, according to Hector Busto, general manager of the hotel.

"The hotel has not only preserved the renowned Ritz-Carlton experience but has also redefined the standard for luxury hotel services," he said.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the hotel hosted a special performance by the QingXin Ensemble, a group made up of alumni from the prestigious New York Juilliard School and Tianjin Juilliard School.

This musical feast took guests on a fabulous journey through music and exemplifies the hotel's dedication to enhancing cultural experiences for its visitors.

Busto said that the hotel will continue to provide exceptional service and create unforgettable experiences for its guests.

He believes that these experiences are essential in shaping individuals' life journeys. As part of this commitment, the hotel organized mini-concerts for child tourists, featuring pianists and students from the Tianjin Juilliard Piano Festival, in the summer.

The hotel has also collaborated with the Anglican Art Center, located in a historical landmark built in the early 1900s. This collaboration offers guests the chance to explore European culture and history through visits to the church and access to music shows from renowned music schools.

Another unique collaboration is a historical building, which used to be an old bank and nowadays is a popular cafe reserve, housed in a renaissance-style building constructed in 1921.

These partnerships provide additional value to guests, who can enjoy exhibitions of world-renowned oil paintings inside the hotel, reproduced by talented artisans from leading art schools to extend their art tours in Tianjin, he said.

Busto emphasized the cultural significance of these experiences, saying that "emotional intelligence toward cultural understanding is very valuable for us", and he hopes that the hotel can continue to provide opportunities for guests to embrace multiculturalism.

In celebrating the hotel's anniversary, Busto expressed pride in the efforts of the Ladies and Gentlemen spirits — the hotel group's motto — "We are Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen" at the Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin, which has dedicated the past decade to delivering the highest level of personal service and creating most indelible memories for guests.

He affirmed the hotel's commitment to being a member of the city and extending the legendary service for which the Ritz-Carlton is renowned.

To mark this milestone, The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin launched a series of gourmet journeys in October, including a co-branded afternoon tea with English pottery company Wedgwood, a gastronomic experience with guest chefs and a super brunch, all aimed at providing unique and unforgettable experiences for guests in Tianjin.

Ten years ago, the opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin ushered in a new era of international business hospitality in the city.

The dedication of the Ladies and Gentlemen to delivering the finest personal service and creating exceptional memories has been consistently recognized, with the hotel ranking among the prestigious Conde Nast Traveler Gold List for five years.
