By the end of September, the installed capacity of grid-connected new energy has reached about 10.03 million kilowatts in Weifang, Shandong province. The Weifang power grid has become the first power grid in Shandong to exceed the 10 million kW in terms of installed capacity of new energy.

This year, the installed capacity of new energy in Weifang has seen rapid growth. The first batch of the wind and solar integrated projects in the Shandong North alkaline-saline tidal flat, with an installed capacity of 1.2 million kW, has been put into operation.

The State Grid Weifang Power Supply Company has launched the Clear Wind and Warm Sunshine new energy grid connection service campaign by introducing measures such as opening service hotlines and providing comprehensive services.

The services cover the signing of grid connection dispatch agreements, technical supervision, joint debugging of main stations and grid connection acceptance.

So far, the total installed capacity of the Weifang power grid is 16.13 million kW and the proportion of new energy generation is 62.15 percent, with wind power installed capacity of 2.35 million kW and photovoltaic installed capacity of 7.44 million kW.

From January to September, the new energy generation in Weifang reached 11.31 billion kilowatt-hours, accounting for 20.7 percent of the total electricity consumption in the grid. The maximum output of new energy generation reached 6.28 million kW, accounting for 63.18 percent of the highest daily load.
