CNOOC Jiangsu LNG asset sets record
In its first year of operations, China's largest liquefied natural gas reserve base, located in the Binhai Industrial Park of Yancheng, Jiangsu province, achieved a cumulative unloading volume exceeding 3.5 billion cubic meters, with a design load utilization rate of over 80 percent. This is a record load utilization rate in the first year of operations for domestic LNG receiving terminals, said its operator China National Offshore Oil Corp on Wednesday.
More green power use expected in key areas
The Chinese government will further increase the proportion of green electricity consumption in key regions, including the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta region and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the National Development and Reform Commission said on Wednesday. This move aims to enhance the utilization of renewable energy in newly added industries, projects and industrial parks, the NDRC said.
Port cargo throughput exceeds 12m tons
The border port of Ceke in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region has handled nearly 12.24 million metric tons of cargo so far this year, according to local Customs. The import and export trade volume handled by the port has reached 7.058 billion yuan ($984 million) thus far this year, according to the Customs data.
