Hainan FTP to build Customs passageway

South China's Hainan province is accelerating the building of the Hainan Free Trade Port by boosting its infrastructure. It is building a designated Customs passageway for trucks completing Customs inspections in the Haikou New Harbor Area, which will allow travel from the inspection site to the new harbor and Nangang waiting areas. It is a milestone project in building the Hainan FTP for island-wide closed operations. State builder China Railway No 4 Engineering Group Co Ltd finished installing the supporting abutment for Hainan's longest-spanning railway-traversing swivel bridge on Friday — part of the designated Customs passageway.
