Since its opening in September 2022, the Emerald Lake Mine Forest Park in Baoqing county of Shuangyashan city, Heilongjiang province has attracted lots of local residents and visitors from different regions.

Located 35 kilometers from the central county, the park was once an abandoned open-pit coal mine with an area of around 40 hectares.

In May 2022, local government started the ecological rehabilitation project in the area and invested 27.8 million yuan into constructing a suburban tourist destination that integrates outdoor camping, wedding photography, and forest rehabilitation.

The park consists of eight functional areas, including the exhibition area, the Emerald Lake area, the central area, the hotel area, the tent camping area, the children's entertainment area, the maple forest area and the kart racing area.

In the hotel area, there are seven tent-shaped hotel rooms for tourists to enjoy a wonderful night.
