Alibaba Cloud launches digital lab in Japan
Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Chinese internet giant Alibaba, announced on Tuesday the launch of a digital transformation lab in Japan as it seeks to work with local businesses to accelerate digitalization. The lab, mainly targeting sectors including retail and logistics, aims to co-develop innovative industrial solutions with participating members in Japan, according to a news briefing in Tokyo. Under the program, Alibaba Cloud and its tech partners will provide resources such as cloud computing, AI services and industrial know-how for program members to upgrade their services.
Hefei-Xinyi HSR reports big progress
Hefei-Xinyi High-speed Railway, a project to enhance connection between Anhui province and the national railway network, reported a big leap forward on Monday when China Railway 24th Bureau Group Corp, the State builder responsible for the construction of the second Dingyuan railway bridge, completed the casting work of a major bridge pillar. CR24, which is building the first six bids of the railway project, said construction work on the substructures has completed.
