US to impose tariffs on tin mill products from Canada, China, Germany

The US Department of Commerce said on Thursday that it will impose anti-dumping tariffs on the imports of tin mill products originating from Canada, China and Germany.

The department said it plans to propose anti-dumping duties of 122.5 percent for tin mill steel imports from China, 7.02 percent for imports from Germany, and 5.29 percent for imports from Canada, according to a press release posted on the website of the US Department of Commerce.

The department said that imports of tin mill products from South Korea, the Netherlands, China's Taiwan region, Turkey and the United Kingdom are not being dumped.
