Pentagon report calls for reforms to address sexual misconduct at military academies

A Defense Department study says that US military academies must increase efforts to address a sharp rise in reported cases of sexual assault and harassment.

Sexual assault and misconduct have been longstanding and challenging issues within American military schools. A report in March revealed an 18 percent increase in reported cases of sexual assault during the 2021-22 academic year, marking the highest number on record for the Pentagon.
