Sinochem launches international summer camp for employee's children


Sinochem Holdings Corp Ltd, China's State-owned multinational conglomerate, launched its first international summer camp program for children of both its domestic and overseas employees on Monday in Beijing, the company said in a statement.
A total of 60 children of company employees from 10 countries and regions, including China, the United States, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam, participated in the event.
The children participating in the summer camp are aged between nine and 14 years old. Their parents are working at Sinochem Holdings' headquarters and its global subsidiaries, including Syngenta Group, Adisseo Group and Elkem ASA.
Sinochem Holdings operates businesses in more than 150 countries and regions, with overseas assets exceeding 50 percent of its total. The company employs over 220,000 people globally, including more than 80,000 foreign employees.
