Over the past decade, China has emerged as a shining example of ecological and biodiversity conservation efforts, achieving remarkable results.

The population of rare species, including the iconic giant panda, is on the rise. More protected areas including the national parks have been established. Biodiversity related laws and regulations have been put in place.
