Knowledge sharers recognized

Zhihu, China's largest question-and-answer site, rewarded 100 exceptional knowledge sharers in Beijing on Sunday, conveying an inspirational message that individuals who actively engage in sharing knowledge can reap personal benefits from their altruistic endeavors.
The award ceremony took place as a part of Zhihu's annual conference, which was held in downtown Beijing's 751 Art Zone from Friday to Sunday. The event brought together many devoted fans and influential contributors, as well as displaying some of the platform's iconic products such as its mascot, an anthropomorphic arctic fox named Liu Kanshan.
Most of the awarded knowledge sharers are also veterans or celebrities in their own fields. For example, one of the star sharers, He Shuai, more known by his online moniker as "Heshawn", is a member of the mathematic marking team for China's national college entrance examination. He has published two best-selling books about math exams, and the videos of his classes have been viewed more than 100 million times online.

According to Zhihu's statistics, the questions and answers related to the examination were viewed an astonishing 240 million times during the period from June to July, spanning from the duration of the exam itself until the moment when students utilized their scores to apply for their desired majors.
Zhou Yuan, founder and CEO of Zhihu, emphasized the significance of xin zhi ren, a phrase that refers to the generation born and raised in the internet era.
He highlighted that this group is generally well-educated and poised for successful careers, making them the backbone of Chinese society. Additionally, Zhou added that the awarded knowledge sharers are representatives of this group across various fields.
