Honeysuckle harvest underway in Shandong

As honeysuckle flowers bloom, farmers in Pingyi county of Linyi, Shandong province, pick and dry them for market.

Pingyi now has more than 44,530 hectares planted in honeysuckle. It produces 60 percent of total honeysuckle flower products in China, making it the country's No 1 honeysuckle planting, processing and distribution base, the county government said.

The honeysuckle sector provides jobs for more than 300,000 people in the county.
