First yuan-settled LNG cargo unloaded

Unloading of China's first cross-border yuan-settled liquefied natural gas was successfully completed on Tuesday, China National Offshore Oil Corp said. The company's LNG carrier Marweh, carrying some 65,000 metric tons of LNG from the United Arab Emirates, finished unloading at CNOOC Guangdong Dapeng LNG receiving station on Tuesday, marking a substantial step forward in cross-border yuan-settlement transactions in the oil and gas trade.

Baidu to integrate its chatbot across units

Technology giant Baidu Inc said on Tuesday that it plans to gradually integrate its ChatGPT-like chatbot service Ernie Bot into all its businesses, and will continue to invest in the fast-developing generative artificial intelligence sector in the coming quarters. The company said total revenue touched 31.1 billion yuan ($4.54 billion) in the first quarter, a 10 percent increase year-on-year.
