KANDAHAR, Afghanistan - The Afghan security forces have discovered and seized explosive objects from a vehicle in the southern Kandahar province, local television channel the TOLOnews reported on Thursday.

Without identifying any official name, the private media outlet reported that the personnel of "Al-Badr 205 Corps found the explosive materials from a vehicle coming from Pakistan in Marof district and arrested two persons."

In a separate report, the private media outlet quoted a Twitter message from the finance ministry saying that the customs department at the Torkham border discovered explosive objects hidden in a vehicle.
