2023 China Family Sailing Race Liangzi Lake Jiangxia Wuhan station sets sail

This is the third time for Hu, a sailing major student at Wuhan University, to take part in family sailing. The first two times Hu participated were as a volunteer and this is the first time as a competitor. "My parents are quite supportive of me learning to sail, but they have never experienced the charm of sailing. Therefore, I brought them along for this family sailing event," Hu said. "I think sailing is a cool sport. It allows us to steer and control the boat on the water. I am so excited and proud to bring my parents to join in on this competition."
