PUMP TRACK TO OPEN

Shenyang International Pump Track is scheduled to open in May in Shenyang, Liaoning province. Pump tracks are playgrounds or sports facilities for bikers, skateboarders or scooter riders. The park is expected to become a new landmark for urban tourism and leisure, according to local officials.

KAZAKH AIR ROUTE

Air China opened a new route linking Xi'an in Shaanxi province and Astana, Kazakhstan, on Friday. It is the first long-haul international route that Air China has opened in Xi'an to offer scheduled flight services destined for Kazakhstan. It is part of Air China's efforts to advance the development of the Belt and Road Initiative. Since 2013, the airline has operated more than 60 air routes linking 36 cities in 26 BRI-involved countries and regions.
