Machine tool show brings out advanced tech

Some of the world's most advanced machine tooling technologies and equipment, made by 1,600 manufacturers from 28 countries and regions, took center stage at the ongoing 18th China International Machine Tool Show in Beijing.
Among them, Guangdong Huasheng Nanotechnology Co Ltd exhibited its latest nanometer-level PVD vacuum coating equipment, garnering the attention of attendants from both home and abroad.
Li Lisheng, chairman of the company, said companies in the sector are now encountering both challenges and opportunities from a complex international environment and rising demand for industrial upgrade. Li said companies should consider collaboration and innovation to build supply chains around high-end products.
Mao Yufeng, president of the China Machine Tool & Tool Builders' Association, said further efforts should be made to expand domestic demand, accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system and enhance the resilience and security level of the industrial and supply chains.
Mao said traditional manufacturing companies should accelerate digital transformation, promote advanced and applicable technologies and develop toward a path of high-end, intelligent and green manufacturing.
