Photographs taken by the Chinese satellite Jilin-1 have presented magnificent landscapes of the vast farmlands of seven major grain-producing regions in Jilin province, including the cities of Yushu and Gongzhuling. The photos were released on a local news website.
Last year, Jilin had a grain harvest of 40.8 million metric tons, with an average output of 7,050 kilograms per hectare. The grain commodity ratio of the province reached 91.1 percent, making it the most important province in net grain transfers in the country.
