After the successful conclusion of the 20th National Congress of CPC, China is again going to hold an important event, i.e., the two sessions. Having huge worldwide impact, the upcoming event also reflects China's enhanced global outreach vis-a-vis soft power projection. No wonder the two sessions attract huge attention, and offer media personnel the opportunity to get the answers to their questions from the Chinese premier and other ministers. In fact, the two sessions are a window to the country's proactive development and are considered a true essence of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Each year, the largest gathering conducts policy plans, a strategic review of past achievements, and lays down future targets and goals. The lianghui, or the two sessions, endorse the national security agenda. It is expected that key government, legislative and political advisory positions are to be formally endorsed by the national legislature at its annual session in March 2023.

It is crucial for China to safeguard sustainable development and have a profound analysis of the country's standing for implementing innovative projects. Moreover, the annual report presented on the occasion provides an insight into the country's economic growth and performance in the prior year and sets the course for the government to take the necessary measures in the current year.

This year, it will be interesting to witness the implementation of policies along with the role played by the government and institutions in order to achieve triumph for the targets mapped in the 20th national CPC congress. In this regard, it can easily be expected that the entire legislative, administrative and consultative system will strengthen China's model of democracy.

These bodies ensure that all people play a part in overseeing the government's work. The two sessions this year will also attract great global attention because they are going to be held just after the conclusion of the 20th CPC National Congress. Furthermore, the two sessions are also significant as they are likely to provide a road map for China's socioeconomic growth in all sectors and highlight the achievements it has made on different fronts in 2022.

The year-end review also shows that China worked throughout the year to achieve the desired results for the future. The optimistic approach with caution has been the hallmark of success for China. In this aspect, the dynamic leadership under President Xi has played a vital role in attaining national rejuvenation.

It can be predicted that socialist modernization will be realized in China by 2035, and the country will be developed into a great modern socialist nation that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, and harmonious. This rejuvenation will mark a brand new chapter for the Chinese nation and people in this crucial time of achieving the Party's second centenary goals.

And since the Year of the Rabbit represents longevity, peace, prosperity in Chinese culture, and hope, the country will steer on a road to a glorious future with political modernization and socialist democracy.
