Tablet shipments up 17% in Q4 of 2022
China's tablet computer shipments grew nearly 17 percent year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2022 to 8.66 million units, according to an industry report. For the full year, shipments climbed 5.2 percent, making 2022 the fourth consecutive year of increase, said International Data Corporation, a global market research firm. IDC attributed the 2022 uptick to the growing prevalence of tablet computers, technology boost from the cellphone supply chain and deeper involvement from cellphone brands in the tablet market.
Aviation college project work on
Construction on the Fuzhou campus of Jiangxi Aviation Vocational and Technical College officially kicked off in Fuzhou, Jiangxi province, over the weekend. China Railway 24th Bureau Group Corp Ltd is the contractor of the project. The total floor area of the Fuzhou campus will reach 80,000 square meters. The first phase of the project will involve the construction of 14 major buildings and a floor area of 20,000 square meters. Supported by the nation's efforts to shore up economic growth and upgrade infrastructure, State-owned builders are going full bore on key infrastructure projects nationwide. CR24, a unit of China Railway Construction Corp, is leveraging its edge in various key infrastructure projects to not only drive up local economic growth but improve people's livelihoods.
