China firmly opposes the United States adding six Chinese entities into its "entity list", a blacklist for export, on the supposition they support China's military airships and other aerospace programs, a spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce said on Monday.

The US has been generalizing the concept of national security for a long time to abuse export control measures, suppress and contain enterprises of other countries, interfere with normal economic and trade exchanges and seriously damage the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises. The spokesperson went on to say this practice undermines the security and stability of global supply and industrial chains and hinders the recovery of the world economy.

The spokesperson added China hopes the US will stop its groundless suppression of Chinese enterprises, and will take necessary measures to resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights of Chinese enterprises.
