Zuoyebang announces new smart desks

Chinese educational technology firm Zuoyebang announced on Thursday its entry into the desk market by launching its newly developed artificial intelligence-enabled desk.
With its built-in smart learning system, the AI desk will enable users to search unfamiliar words and make study plans. The desk can also correct the postures of children and identify wrong siting positions.
The Beijing-based company launched its first generation of AI desks late last year for trial and within four months, the product made it into the top four desks sold on Alibaba's Tmall, in terms of gross merchandise volume.
As parents are increasingly paying attention to myopia problems of children, the company also developed smart lamps that can adjust brightness in order to protect the user's eyes.
