China cuts gasoline, diesel retail prices
China cut retail prices for gasoline and diesel on Wednesday, based on recent trends in global crude prices. Gasoline and diesel prices will fall by 205 yuan ($30) per metric ton and 195 yuan per ton, respectively, said the National Development and Reform Commission.
New HSR underway to aid Xiong'an New Area
Construction of the Xiong'an-Shangqiu section of the 639-kilometer Beijing-Xiong'an-Shangqiu high-speed railway is underway smoothly. The section will extend for 552 km with 16 stations, allowing trains to run at 350 kilometers per hour. It will help boost the development of the Xiong'an New Area. One of the builders, China Railway No 4 Engineering Group Co Ltd, said its project department has set up an integrated center overseeing its mixing plants, reinforcing bar processing, work safety and labor management to build the HSR into a top-quality line.
