WEF annual meeting kicks off in Davos

The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting kicked off with a call for "Cooperation in a fragmented world" in Davos, Switzerland, Jan 16.

The participants of the event are expected to hold dialogues to forge understanding and alignment and exchange insights, drive tangible action on key global issues in gatherings of communities of purpose and have opportunities for foresight and discovery to scale society critical innovations, the forum said on its official website.
