German climate activists attack Christmas tree

German climate activists have chopped the top off a Christmas tree in front of Berlin's famous Brandenburg Gate.

After the incident on Wednesday, the activists called on the government of Chancellor Olaf Scholz to do more to tackle global warming. A Berlin police spokeswoman said three activists had been detained, and were being investigated.
