Fiture opens flagship store in Guangzhou

Opening its first flagship store of smart fitness in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, would help Fiture, a Chinese smart fitness startup, to promote commercial use of intelligent fitness facilities in the domestic market, according to a senior company executive.
"Launching our first store in Guangzhou will also help build a healthy lifestyle for local people, injecting new momentum in developing a smart business environment in the city," said Zhang Yuansheng, co-founder and president of Fiture.
The company's new flagship store opened on Friday and is located in the booming Zhujiang New Town of Guangzhou, where there is a large number of people, especially women, participating in sports exercise, according to Zhang.
To accelerate commercial use of smart fitness products, the company has expanded stores since the second half of this year, with 20 already being launched in nine big cities.
The company's new version of Magic Mirror – a smart fitness product that detects body movements and gestures through artificial intelligence-powered technology along with exercise data – was displayed during an industrial event in August in Guangzhou.
The new fitness mirror has become an intelligent fitness product in China to realize AI recognition for two people, allowing users to exercise with their friends and family members.
The company's products have reached tens of thousands of families in 345 cities across the country, popping up in homes, offices, hotels and theme parks.
