State Grid unit devises efficient gas membrane

State Grid Smart Grid Research Institute, a unit under the State Grid Corp of China, said its research team recently mastered a way to produce oil-gas separation membranes with high separation efficiency and reliability. The new solution, which can save 90 percent of original processing time, was fully developed by the research team. The application of the high-efficiency oil and gas separation membrane can prevent vaporized oil entering the detection unit, which will effectively improve the long-term operational stability and reliability of the online monitoring device, and then ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system.
