First Lady of Zimbabwe honored on #WeAreTogether international award

The project of the First Lady of Zimbabwe, H.E. Madam Auxillia Mnangagwa, the Angel of Hope Foundation, was awarded in the #WeAreTogether International Award in "The Nation's Health" nomination December 5, 2022.

The Angel of Hope Foundation is a Zimbabwean non-profit organization founded by the First Lady of Zimbabwe on 17 February, 2018. According to H.E. Auxillia Mnangagwa, the charity project was created to mobilize resources for the less privileged.

The main focus of the Foundation is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and other vulnerable members of society.

The Angel of Hope Foundation is called upon to stand up and take responsibility for the future of Zimbabwe, with a commitment to create a better future for Zimbabwean children, regardless of gender, race, religion, tribe or economic status, at its core.

In addition to it, in the nomination "The Nation's Health", the International Track won a project from Denmark to protect rivers and lakes.

The international award #WeAreTogether was awarded within the framework of the eponymous international forum of civil participation

This year, during the solemn ceremony, 12 awards were presented, for which volunteers from around the world were nominated. The main goal of the award is to recognize and support the leaders of socially significant initiatives aimed at helping people and improving the quality of life in Russia and the world.
