Popular parks reopen in Guangzhou

Three parks in Chimelong, one of the hottest tourism destinations in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, reopened on Friday after being closed for nearly a month after the latest COVID-19 outbreak.

Ticket discounts and diverse activities inside the safari and water parks and Chimelong Paradise will be offered to visitors, the company said.

Inside the safari park, new cubs of various animals including orangutans, marmosets and Hainan-native slope deer, will also meet visitors, it said.

Chimelong, which is home to the world's only giant panda triplets, has more than 20,000 animals of 500 species.
