Dapeng New Area eyes marine hub
Shenzhen in South China's Guangdong province is bolstering efforts to build its Dapeng New Area into a key marine hub thriving in eco-tourism industries. It has started its Phase III project for Shenzhen Metro Line 8 to link the line's existing Phase I and Phase II as well as Line 2 to usher in an east-west transit artery connecting the districts of Nanshan, Futian, Luohu, Yantian with Dapeng. The project, running for 3.7 kilometers, is being built by China Railway No 4 Engineering Group Co Ltd. Besides the new area, Shenzhen has nine districts.
2 STAR Market IPOs receive green light
China's securities regulator has approved IPOs of two companies on the science and technology innovation board. Sichuan Biokin Pharmaceutical Co Ltd and SWS Hemodialysis Care Co Ltd will be listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange's sci-tech innovation board-commonly known as the STAR Market-according to the China Securities Regulatory Commission. The companies and their underwriters will confirm the dates of the IPOs and publish prospectuses following discussions with the stock exchange.
