Thousands of US flights delayed or canceled after Thanksgiving

The Thanksgiving holiday is one of the busiest travel periods of the year in the US, but because of bad weather, more than 2,200 flights within, into and out of the US had been delayed or canceled as of Monday afternoon; on Sunday, nearly 7,000 flights were delayed and about 180 canceled.
