Grace Chen unveils Fall/Winter 2022 collection

Dreams of Red Mansions marks the first installment of the “Chinese Classical Literature Trilogy” series by Grace Chen, who, in the last few years, has created the widely acclaimed four-part “Lyre, Chess, Calligraphy and Painting • Chinese Elegance” series.

As a fashion designer of Chinese heritage, it is a mission for me to incorporate traditional Chinese culture into modern life, Chen said.

This haute couture collection features a medley of colors that recall the scenery and the dressing styles in Cao’s novel. Moon white, plum blossom red, peach blossom pink, azure, duckling yellow, and ink black are among them.
