Guangzhou quarantine facilities almost ready for operation

Construction of more quarantine facilities is underway in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, as the city's number of new infections of COVID-19 continued to grow in recent days.

The building of some 395 plank houses, with 1,800 beds, was finished on Friday in the city's Baiyun district, ready to be put into operation soon, according to the China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Group Co Ltd.
