Pakistan hails Chinese medical support

Team members were experienced in the fields of gastroenterology, infectious diseases, respiratory medicine, dermatology, general surgery, nursing, drinking water sanitation, mosquito vector monitoring and transmission, environmental cleaning and laboratory testing.

Once it arrived in Pakistan, the team had a deep discussion with the Pakistani side over the progress of flood control and disease prevention. Experts also conducted field research in the hardest-hit areas and assisted local departments concerned with post-disaster medical treatment and pandemic prevention, putting forward anti-epidemic strategies and making suggestions.
