One of the people in the picture, Lin Chia-hsuan from Taipei, visited the exhibition on Friday and said she was surprised and moved to see the volunteer team's picture there.

Lin, a third-year graduate student at the College of Dance of Minzu University of China, said she was lucky to have the chance to participate and witness many activities on the mainland while studying in Beijing, including the Winter Olympics and some rural vitalization projects.

Interested in the cultures of ethnic groups, she said her dream is to compile some teaching materials promoting dances from Taiwan's ethnic groups to better preserve Chinese culture.
