Search and rescue tested in Pearl River estuary

The drill was organized by the Ministry of Transport and the Guangdong provincial government. It refined the ministry-province and regional coordinating mechanisms, said Zhuo Li, deputy director of the China maritime search and rescue center.

In a first, diplomats from countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations were invited to view the drill.
