China adds 386 PPP projects in Jan-Aug
Some 386 new public-private partnership, or PPP, projects registered in China in the first eight months of the year, official data showed. PPP projects with a total investment of 239.9 billion yuan ($34.53 billion) were added to the transport sector during the period, the largest investment volume of new projects among all the sectors, according to the Ministry of Finance. In August, 48 new PPP projects were added, 25 of which are related to low-carbon and pollution prevention and control fields.
Natural gas output up 6.3% in August
China's natural gas output in August maintained a steady increase-6.3 percent year-on-year-to reach 17 billion cubic meters, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed. In the first eight months, China reported 143.7 bcm of natural gas production, up 5.5 percent year-on-year.
