Located on the border of Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces and the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Momoge is the largest wetland reserve in Jilin and an important stop on the migratory path of birds in East Asia.

Flocks of birds, such as white cranes and wild ducks have been seen flying or seeking food in the wetlands, forming a harmonious ecological landscape.
